Percent is a search-first review platform where verified humans post authentic reviews. The web is read-only. Anyone can browse and search. Writing reviews, following users, and voting require the Percent iOS app with biometric authentication.

2. Eligibility

To use Percent, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Have the Percent iOS app if you want to write reviews, follow users, or vote
• Accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy

3. Account and Authentication

Percent uses a tiered access model:

• Web (no auth): browse and read all public reviews
• Web (email auth): access your profile and account settings
• iOS app (biometric auth): write reviews, follow users, and vote

4. User Content

You retain rights to content you submit. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content to operate the platform.

• Do not post fake, AI-generated, or misleading content
• Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Do not upload harmful, offensive, or illegal material

5. Verified Reviews Only

All content creation requires biometric authentication through the Percent iOS app. This ensures every review comes from a real, accountable human.

• No review automation or AI-generated content
• No fake accounts or bypassing verification
• No misuse of authentication systems

6. Intellectual Property

All Percent trademarks, logos, code, and original content (except user reviews) are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, reverse engineer, or exploit any part of the platform without permission.

7. Enforcement and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violating these Terms, circumventing verification, or posting content that violates laws or community standards. We may remove content or limit functionality at our discretion.

8. Disclaimers

Percent is provided as-is without warranty. We do not guarantee accuracy of user reviews, platform uptime, or compatibility with all devices. Use of the service is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Percent is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users via the app or email. Continued use means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. All disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County.
